Your information,
in plain language.
Who we are. H1E (Human First Engineering) is operated by Magnetic Ventures, LLC, 5459 Valensole Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89141. Questions and requests go to hello@h1e.ai.
What we collect
When you request a resource, we store:
- What you tell us: your name, work email, company, role, company size, where you are with AI, and any business problem, value driver, or decision threshold you choose to describe.
- What you access: which resources you request, and when a resource page opens. An open tells us the page loaded. It does not tell us you read it.
- A browser session record: a secure first-party cookie that remembers your answers on this browser for up to 90 days. Your answers are stored on our server, not in your browser. We store only a one-way hashed version of the cookie value.
- Basic security data: to slow down abuse, we count requests using a hashed form of your IP address. Each count expires after about two hours and is deleted automatically afterward. We may also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that runs in your browser, to confirm the form is being submitted by a person.
What we do with it
- Give you the resource, and avoid asking you the same questions twice.
- Tell ourselves you’re here. The first time you submit, we send ourselves an internal push notification. It contains your name, your email’s domain (not your full address), the company name you entered, which resource you requested, and whether the address is a free-mail one. Nothing else.
- Do our homework before we follow up. We look up you and your company so our first reply is useful. We use what you submitted plus public web sources, for example your company’s website, public professional profiles, and news coverage. We may use an AI model and web search tools to help with that research. We look at professional information only: your role, your company, and its business. We don’t research your personal life. The resulting notes are kept with your record and used only inside H1E.
- Follow up with you personally about the resource or your problem. Requesting a resource does not add you to a newsletter or marketing list.
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry you started. You can object at any time (see “Your choices”).
Who else handles it
We use a small set of providers to run this. They process your information for us:
- Hosting, database, and security: Cloudflare hosts this site and its database and provides its bot protection, including Turnstile.
- Internal alerts: Pushover delivers the push notification described above to H1E’s own devices.
- Email: Google Workspace runs our mailbox, including any internal notes we email ourselves about your inquiry.
- AI research assistant: an AI model provider processes what you submitted, together with the public information we find, to help us prepare our research notes.
- Web search tools: search and page-retrieval services receive search queries that can include your name and company.
This site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and standard browser information. Google does not receive your form answers.
We do not use a business-contact data provider (a paid database of people and companies) to look you up. If that changes, we will update this notice first. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Our providers may store and process your information in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
What to share
Business context only. Please don’t include passwords, sensitive personal information, or confidential customer records. Optional questions can be left blank.
How long we keep it
We keep your submission and access history for 24 months after your last activity, and our research notes about you for 12 months after your last activity. Then we delete them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. The browser cookie expires after 90 days, but that does not delete your record on our server.
Your choices
- Object, correct, or delete. Email hello@h1e.ai. If you object to the research or ask to be deleted, we’ll stop. Deletion removes your submission, sessions, access history, and research notes, plus the internal emails and alerts about you that we hold.
- Access. Ask us what we hold about you, and we’ll send it.
- Start a new profile. That button clears this browser’s recognition of you. It does not delete an earlier submission. Email us for that.
- Complain. If you are in the EU or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority. We’d rather hear from you first.
Lead records are not publicly listed anywhere on this site.
